Sucessful Pelham Business Event at the Pinball Wizard Arade

04.07.11

A great time was had by all the local businesses who attended last night's event at the Pinball Wizard Arcade.  A huge thanks to them  for sponsoring the event.

The food supplied by Suppa's subs just kept coming and was 'suppa delicious'. And the drinks supplied by Walgreens were most refreshing.  Thank you to both sponsors.

Everyone received a little fun wallet with tokens when they signed in and many stayed after the event to play some arcade games.  Thank you Sarah, owner, and Christina, manager, of the Pinball Wizard Arcade  for supplying those and most of all for sponsoring the event in your super new facility.  Good luck with the new children's arcade games due to come in this week.

Also thank you to our table sponsors who put up wonderful displays and shared great knowledge about their business to our attendees.    They are... A. Lisa Anne Landry, Realtor; Dr. Kodahli of Pelham Healthcare Associates and Pelham Cosmetic Lasers; Greater Hudson Chamber of Commerce; Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce; Merrimack Valley Small Business Technologies; Walgreens; and last but not least, Wireless Zone.    Please reach out to these and other town businesses and show your home town support!

Look for more information in the coming weeks on the palate Teasing Taste of Pelham, which will be our charity event for the Pelham Food Pantry.

The Pelham Economic Development Committee is looking for additional members to help bring ground breaking businesses to Pelham.  If you can spare the second Tuesday of the month to work on great ideas for Pelham, please come join us and see if this may be a fit for your talents.

Pelham's Early History

John Butler was Pelham’s first settler in 1721. Nearly 70 years later, Pelham’s population was taken in its first census and 791 residents were counted in 1790. Pelham's growth was especially remarkable, considering that the boundary between MA and NH that would help to form the town of Pelham was in dispute until 1741.
